I learned storytelling from my mom, who delights in tall tales, and making things from my dad, who thinks a lot and is good with his hands. Everything I am I owe to them, and to the numerous teachers I’ve found in friends, family, mentors, and passing strangers.
Since graduating from SAIC, I’ve devoted most of my time to traveling, making things, cooking things, learning things, listening.
I live in Los Angeles now but the ground under my feet always wants to move – maybe I’ve spent too many years in earthquake country.
